A Little More Help Popping Your Dreamseeds.
Hello all! I need to talk to you about the importance of using Keywords!
I've had quite a few article submissions in "The Mother's Lounge" over the past few weeks and I love it!
I hope you'll all continue to submit your recommendations in article form.
I have some guidance for those of you who choose to use "The Mother's Lounge" as a medium to refer your products to my audience.
The big one is properly using Keywords.
For example, if you're featuring a product about healthy skin care, then you would do a quick keyword search to find out how popular your topic is, and then choose some applicable keywords that get searched for frequently and pop them into your article.
Where, and How Often Do I Use Keywords?
That's a very good question. The answer is simple. (Try not to over complicate it.)
- In your headline.
- In the first 5-10 words of your article.
- Scattered throughout your article.
So Let's Say You Have a 10 Paragraph Artcle:
(NOTE: In this example a paragraph is a 4-5 line paragraph on a web page.)
If you have 10 paragraphs then you'll obviously have your keywords in the headline, first few words, and then 5 times throughout your 10 paragraphs.
It's a basic rule of thumb. If you put your word (or phrase) in your article 7 times instead of 5 because without it your point cannot be made to your readers then go ahead and use it 7 times.
You'll want it in there 5 times for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) purposes.
What if my article is only 5 paragraphs long?
Well, then you'll make sure your keyword or phrase is in the headline, first few words, and then 2-3 times in your article.
Why Do I Care About Keywords?
When you post an article on Bronwenlise.com and it gets approved it is then turned into a web page on this site. It can be pulled up by search engines and you can potentially make a sale from that search.
It just benefits you to make the effort.
