I’ve heard it said recently that online MLM is dead, and when it comes to low cost lead generation and multi level marketing leads I can see how some people have come to that conclusion.

But honestly, I think it was just a shocking headline that someone came up with in order to get their email opened and suddenly the rumor has gone wild and people are giving up – dropping like flies!

I’d love to set the record straight. The reason why online MLM is considered to be dead is because it’s highly competitive and MOST network marketers don’t do it right.

Have you seen the guy on facebook blasting about his opportunity? I wonder how many multi level marketing leads he’s getting. And when the people who decide to join him start blasting on facebook about their opportunity too… it’s annoying.

What’s NOT annoying?

Well, it’s not as irritating when people TEACH something, now is it?

I know when I’m on a social media site there is a different vibe from the teacher than from the desperate marketer.

I heard an excellent story from Mike Dillard the other day. In a nutshell it goes something like this:

He was talking to a couple who had just been engaged and he asked the woman where they picked up her engagement ring. She said it was from a particular jewelry store that turns out to be the #1 name in America.

They don’t do any pushy advertising. The only thing they do is an infomercial where they teach people how to rate the quality of gems.

Amazing, right, that a store has become the #1 selling brand in America just by TEACHING about how to find high quality?

If you were to apply this simple principle to low cost lead generation and then simply TEACH – yes, your method of generating leads is simply to teach someone else how to do it too – well, frankly you’ll be finding high quality multi level marketing leads. It’s not rocket science.

It’s an art. And we all know that just about anyone can be deemed an artist. I call my 3 year old a great artist because she’s got the knack.

Enough of being a perfectionist and stressing and holding yourself back!

You really can do this too. Article Marketing is very simple. You just need to trust that you know enough to turn around and teach it.

You don’t have to already be generating leads to teach someone how to do it. In fact, with this method you will only start bringing in a crowd as soon as you can put some confidence in your teacher and then turn around and duplicate their efforts.

Like I said, it’s not difficult to do low cost lead generation using article marketing. If you think it’s hard then we need to have a talk and figure out where you’re going wrong. But honestly, you can do it. You’re reading this article right now… you have something to turn around and teach.

What’s that? What should you teach? Teach that you know that educating people is the way to get them to become your follower! When they become your student that’s when you can help them.
