How To Make Every Page of Your Site into a Low Cost Lead Generation Opportunity.

From the Office of Bronwen Oehlschlager

Online Network Marketing Coach

Sometimes beginners in low cost lead generation forget that this is all about generating leads so that we can help as many people as we can and at the same time make money doing it.

Making every page of your website or blog into a lead capture opportunity is pretty simple. Know your tools and you should be able to knock out the opt-in form at the end of each article with no problem.

You Have An Auto-responder Right?

Start at the beginning and make sure you have your email auto-responder webform all set up and ready to add to your site. If you don’t know which one is best just ask your coach. Most successful coaches will be able to recommend an affordable and reliable auto-responder.

Now decide how you want to start. Any low cost lead generation is always a bit of an experiment so make sure you can track what’s working and what’s not. Again, if you don’t know where to begin to track your low cost lead generation progress just ask your coach how they do it and just mimic them until you’re ready to create your own tracking system.

(Note: Try not to be lazy and forget to track everything. It’s key to your success!)

Some people like to use a popover form to drop into the page after a few seconds, but more use an inline webform. A webform is where your lead can put in their name and email address and let you know that they want your help.

To Wordpress or Not To Wordpress?

It’s a good idea to apply this to your current article marketing and blogging using widgets and plug ins. If you don’t know how to do it, you should ask your coach, or contact technical support for help.

With wordpress you’re limited unless you go through a host like hostgator to get your wordpress blog. I recommend doing that because if you don’t you might get frustrated with the fact that wordpress alone won’t let you add html or javascript to your blog. That's frustrating... but there are ways around it that are very affordable (under $10 per month).

Where to put your Lead Capture Forms.

Make sure you have a webform for lead capture on the side of your blog, and at the bottom of each post. One of my early mentors taught me that you need to give your audience more than just one opportunity to opt-in per page. So if you’re writing a long article you can even slip a webform into the middle of it and at the end.

It’s An Art.

These are things to think about, but remember that marketing is an art. What your audience likes will determine what you do. The look and feel of each webform may have to be altered over time. Your call to action may have to be altered over time. But ultimately giving them an opportunity or two per article on your site should be enough to consistently gather top notch leads to your fold.

I’ll see you at the top!
