How to Get Your MLM Leads! Procrastinators Never Prosper.

You know, getting MLM leads is a lot like regular life. If you procrastinate nothing really ever gets done.

I’ll illustrate this point with a story from my real life. I have a 7 year old son, and a 3 year old daughter. They are expected the do certain tasks throughout the day and I give them the choice to do them or to accept the consequences for not doing their jobs.

I’ve been watching closely over the past week as my brilliant children choose to procrastinate their work right up until the moment when my husband gets home at the end of the day, thus forfeiting their bedtime game with Daddy.

Because they wait until the very last moment everything piles up on them and they get overwhelmed and then they get almost nothing accomplished.

As you try to figure out how to generate MLM Leads do you find yourself doing this same thing just like a little child?

Do you find that you let things stack up instead of setting up some basic daily tasks and a schedule that is set in stone and right for you?

I am finding that as I teach article marketing to generate MLM Leads that more and more people call me 10 days in telling me that they still aren’t getting any leads. Not one lead.

I ask if they’re doing all of the steps? They say yes.

I probe a little deeper. Are you making videos to promote your articles every day?

I’m not writing an article every day, they tell me. (Bingo. You have to do one every day. In a regular month you should write 22 total. That’s 1 per day Monday through Friday.)

Are you making videos to promote the ones you are writing?

No.

I then proceed to tell them that I’m not surprised at all that they’re not getting leads. They’re procrastinating being consistent.

I don’t know what to write, they say.

Well, it’s time to read then. There’s plenty to say, and we’re in a business of duplication, so why don’t you go and read (I give them a place to start.) and send me your article links when you get them posted to your blog?

A few days later I get a call from the same person telling me how frustrated they are that they still don’t have any leads and that they don’t know what to write.

What’s the next obvious question? Did they read what I recommended?

Nope.

How about you? Are you procrastinating? It’s not a good habit. You might not even know you’re doing it because you’re so busy checking your email or messing around on facebook to realize that you didn’t get an article written and promoted today.

Did you get one done today?

I know this particular article is more philosophical rather than training but the point is pretty clear right? Make a checklist and set a schedule and make sure you’re getting the job done. This is for you, not for me. What do you have to lose?

Right. Nothing. And you have everything to gain. This is your business. Get to it!
