Lavender Oil to Help Your Children Sleep at Night.

Sooth Your Sad Baby with Lavender Oil.
"She's 18 months old!" My husband complained. And I agreed. She shouldn't have STILL been waking up in the night needing me to hold her, give her a drink, or whatever else she was waking up for.
We were exhausted!
So I went to the person who I knew could give me a healthy solution to my problem. My massage therapist, Natanya Nielsen, who is also well versed in the benefits and effects of essential oils.
When I told her my daughter had never consistently slept through the night she asked me if I had ever tried lavender oil, and I told her "no".
That's when she proceeded to show me how to use it.
My daughter had been a late teether, thus her constant habit of waking up in the night needing comfort of some kind.
Natanya showed me how to use lavender oil right on her gums to ease my baby's pain and swelling and then put some on her toes so that the soothing effects could get to her nerves from the bottoms of her feet as well.
It Actually Worked! She Sleeps!
I thought I would have to let my little one cry it out for a while, but even now that she is done teething she likes me to give her some lavender oil (in her mouth even, she likes it.) before bed. She settles right down.
My other children also ask for some "Stuff to help them sleep" almost every night. They know it soothes them when they're feeling overstimulated from a long day.
Natanya also showed me how to add some lavender oil into some virgin coconut oil to rub on my own feet at the end of the day.
It helps me sleep better too.
