What is Lavender Oil?
Lavender oil is distilled from the flowering top of the lavender plant. It has been traditionally known as the universal oil. If in doubt use Lavender.
It has been known to help with balancing the body and working in the body wherever there is a need. It may be beneficial for the cardiovascular system, the skin, emotional balance and the nervous system.
I have used lavender oil for a great variety of things.
It is the go to oil in our home. My children find it very soothing for cuts, scrapes and bruises.
I love it on my feet before I go to bed. I find it very soothing and relaxing. Just put a few drops in your favorite lotion and see if sleep finds you easier!
A drop on my wrists when I am feeling anxious or nervous is very calming. This can be especially useful for pregnant women, and new mothers, along with
overstimulated children who just can't figure out how to settle down on their own. There are various ways to use oils.
The bottoms of the feet is a great place to rub in a drop of your favorite essential oil.
They can be applied topically to the area in need. Oils can also be diffused into the air. This will help clean the air and make is smell beautiful in your home.
